Ballroom Dancing

My understanding is that there are many Leisure World residents who want to learn more about dancing and who want to be introduced to dancing opportunities at the Leisure World. The class is designed especially for those who have been too shy or too timid to participate in dancing. Some dances such as Sock Hop do not even require dancing partners and can enjoy with same gender friends.

Because of the limited number of classes, lessons on actual steps are quite limited, but good enough students to gain courage to begin their participation at least in sock hop dancing. Those interested in learning ballroom dancing steps will be provided names and places near the Leisure World where they can take lessons to learn steps for the beginners.
